Speaking in Tongues

Mark Schwann and Austin talk about Season Seven of One Tree Hill as the CBS/Showtime/CW TCA party.

Think we have found the secret to Austin success on the red carpet.
The Interview Buddy.

Austin was quite funny, and no rambling around where both he and the interviewer forgot the point. You know I know a perfect guy to be his permanent interview buddy, 6'2", dark hair, blue eyes, smiles alot, wait I digress.

But watching this video make me think of a whole lot of things like:

Man, Austin kind of looks like Mr. Clean wearing a suit.

OMG you think they're going to Glasgow Kiss right there on the red carpet?

Base or bronzer?

Somebody took a powder. (to the shine)

Is Austin missing John? Or just the new Chris Isaak?

And the biggest thing that came to mind, if you turn this clip into a drinking game, a shot every time Austin licks his lips you'd be drunk as a skunk by 3:01.

Catch Austin talking about Julian and Brooke and saying "his woman in her house", who says that? And that way?

See what happens when I post in the wee small hours of the morning? : )

^^Hooray!

Wow, Spesh, this interview with Mark Schwann and Austin was great - I loved Austin's counterpoint to Mark's comments:

"Beautiful."

"Handsome"

"Sexy." :)

He's got a gorgeous smile, and such a great, confident, but nice demeanor, charming and funny. And, of course, a long tall drink of water to boot. What person wouldn't fall for him. :)

Nanci Ryder publicist to both Renee Z and Reese W has a blueprint for these types of things.

1. Costar 2. Rumors 3. Deny rumors 4. Sneaky Euro-trip 5. Caught! Kissing

yada, yada, yada

Jake and Bradley Cooper absolutely have to be gay. Something stinks about both of these "relationships".

ITA! I was just looking at the pictures of Bradley and Renee. Talk about deja vu! They even have the hand in back pocket move. For me the dead give away is "coming out" as a couple abroad with a huge entourage around you.

And I didn't have a chance to post yesterday, but happy birthday to everyone & thanks to Special and Wicked for the fantastic posts that keep the spirit alive.

Happy birthday OMG for yesterday. You guys have a great blog and some really smart posters here.

Good luck & best wishes...

Turns out HBO had submitted Austin’s Austin Nichols for an Emmy actor nomination for his performance in the canceled “John from Cincinnati.” He didn’t click with Academy voters, though. Still clicks with his hometown.

That Mr. Clean comparison is very funny. Can't wait until tonight to watch the interview.

Interesting about Ryder. I wonder if she works for Timberlake or Biel.

So how long until we get the piggy-back ride?

Austin on the red carpet. Lovely. And he is so charming. I hope we see this become a regular event. I like the duet format as well. I think Jake an Peter did it this way a few times with good results as well.

flf!!!!! hi!
So, flf what are you doing these days? Are you into the Twilight fandom? Or the Cradam fandom? Or are you just kind of going cold turkey on the fandoms, lol? I wish I could still hear your opinion on things sometimes. You always had a pretty cut & dried way of putting things.
:(

Okay, Guess where I am at. I am at a local library. LOLL! Have laptop, will travel when out of town visitors are hogging up the conference room.
And I passed Mr. Goodcents going up the stairs with trays of food on my way out. While I had yogurt in hand. heavy sigh.

Oh well, I am desperate to work on my project. It's so nice and quiet here, tho; I may come more often. And I can get on their internet, cool.

Okay, hope everyone is having a good day. I can't believe it's Thursday, feels like it should be Friday already.

This BoomerRadio.com station I'm listening to is great. It's like listening to my mom's music way back when we were little.

Burt Bacharach "This Guy's In Love With You". "Wishin' and Hopin'"
Oh! And I heard "Arizona" by Mark Lindsey!!! Woohoo! Mark Lindsey - anyone remember him? Lead singer for, now who in the heck did he sing for, oh yeah, was it Paul Revere & the Raiders?

Arizona! Hey, wontcha go my way....
Oh, I love that song. Remember Mark Lindsey's ponytail?

Alright, gotta go. Love the little red balloons on my screen right now.

Whatever happened to Shhhh in the library? Whatever happened to "We're to be quiet in a library"
Whatever happened to "inside voice"?

Excuse me Ms can you type quieter? This is a library, not a .....wait is that slash you're writing? Holy Mother... let me take you into one of our private quiet rooms in the back so you can keep working on it and I can read what you have so far. It's okay, I'm on my break.

LOLLLL!

Hey, and guess what happened as I was packing up my stuff to leave. It had just gotten nice and quiet again but then I hear this man talking real loud to the lady at the front desk. He was complaining about some lady out in the front parking row who had parked over two spaces, thus rendering him unable to park in a space. (LOL! I was just complaining about parking yesterday!) He was going on & on and then you hear "Sir, if you would have just waited, blah blah blah....There's no need to come in here and raise a big blah blah blah" And then he barked back and she barked back at him. They were arguing real loud back & forth in the library!!! LOLL! Good grief. Library parking rage!

Boy!

My beta asked me if they had a "quiet room" where I could go to work on my story? LOL! What is a quiet room? I thought those were just for churches! I thought a library was supposed to be quiet! Not this one. Everytime I go in there, people are talking all loud.

That was funny, those 2 people going at it. Over a parking spot! And it's not even Christmas.

See it all the time said...

He was complaining about some lady out in the front parking row who had parked over two spaces, thus rendering him unable to park in a space.

Let me guess: he was probably overweight and not in the best of shape either. Dude needs to park farther and get some exercise.

Austin's adjectives were fun, it reminds me of the red carpet version of School House Rock.

The red carpet would be daunting can't imagine all those flashes and people yelling things at you.

Austin's eyes were still darting around, but he was losing his train of thought like he has before. Lip licking can be a sign of nervousness.

And oh honey please he can call that bronzer all he wants to, but that's base with a good powder to set everything. ; ) But looking at the picture of him from LAX, damn I if I could find lipstick the color his lips are naturally.

Hey ng! Nice to see you! How are you doing. How is your weather?

Just Jared has a post about Abby Cornish, who does an interview for a magazine called "W", I think. It mentions her living with Ryan Philippe and that he is the reason she moved to L.A. from Australia. She also says "it was love" that brought her to the States. She also gives a real jumbled answer to the question if she broke up his & Ice Maiden's marriage. I sure didn't get her spin of an answer, lol.

Ol' Reese probably not going to be too happy about her marriage break up once again being discussed when it comes to Abby Cornish.

asdf said...

So instead of a regular actor like Jake, Hugh Jackman or Zack Quinto just being normal and gay, we get Lady Gaga as a gay figurehead. Nice.

Revenge said...

The whole Abbie Cornish interview now explains the kids running the race in MV and the good stepdad routine with no Chinny in the pics. Reese must have known the interview was about to be released. To me that interview is his "fuck you" to Reese about pimping the kids for photo ops with the gay boyfriend and doing the whole perfect family act.

Interesting story about how a NY court in a defamation suit brought by Howard K. Stern ruled that it is not defamation per se to call someone gay--however, the judge ruled that issue of whether talk about sexual conduct is defamation can still be decided by the jury.

Calling Someone gay is not Grounds for a Defamation Suit

destiny said...

It would be nice if all those people came out, but I don't think that should take away from Lady Gaga. I don't get her appeal, but I'm all for anyone willing to be open about their sexuality.

And by the way, it is always the more "outrageous" ones, for a lack of a better, word, who are on the frontlines. It is the ones who can blend in who are cowards--and often look down on the more flamboyant gay people--as if their not coming out is because they're afraid of being associated with someone like that.

Albania's homosexuals won more than they had hoped for after the government said it planned to allow same-sex marriages despite opposition from religious leaders and politicians.

The proposal put forward by Prime Minister Sali Berisha on Thursday faces a tough fight in parliament.

But should he make good on his plans, Albania would join European Union members The Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain in giving gay couples the same rights as heterosexual couples and would be the first country in the Balkans to do so.

"This is not only a step to be taken for European integration, but primarily for the emancipation of the Albanian society," the Alliance against Discrimination of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) said Friday.

Even Albania is more progressive with gay marriage than the U.S.

The video of Austin and that guy is charming. Austin cracks me up especially when he starts stumbling around.

His mouth must get all dry when he does interviews. Either that or he gets very dry lips. Either way, not an annoying habit at all, especially the way he does it, lol! Have you ever seen a guy moisten his lips like that? What a feather touch he must have!

alright, gotta stop writing about that before the key typing takes on a life of its own.

Anyone seen this commercial about Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes where that little voice talks real fast? What in the heck are they saying?! It intrigues the heck out of me! I love that commercial!

Thank goodness today is Friday. This has been the looooooongest, most tiring work week. And I do believe the out of town guests will be gone. Out of town work visitors are like relatives who stay kinda too long. You start to desire a return to "norm".

What is a quiet room?

A quiet room is a room in a psychiatric hospital that has barely any furniture, nothing on the walls, and is designed to be non-stimulating so an individual patient can go and get a break from the noise and commotion of the ward.

Hi PG, how are you? No I'm not into any fandom... maybe Star Trek, a little bit. I've always loved Spock from when I was little!

My opinion of Jake is completely negative and I see no point in posting and upsetting some of the posters here. I don't watch Jake any more but do keep an eye on things, as you might say! Curious to see if the bearding will make him a star. Doubt it.
