Procter & Gamble's Duracell division has signed actress Maggie Gyllenhaal as brand spokesperson for its yearly holiday campaign. The effort centers on a "casting call" to find Duracell holiday ambassadors.
Children between the ages of 6 and 15 are invited to participate via online and in-person casting calls. The online search is at www.PowerASmile.com through Nov. 3, where parents can upload their children's photos.
Winners get a trip to New York City to meet Gyllenhaal, a $500 shopping spree and Duracell batteries.

Because it is a political issue, I'm not sure that you'll find a place to donate through NG. For example, another site that I know of requires you to state that your a citizen. I'm going to link anyway for people looking for places to donate. Act Blue
I've just read some stories about how the things are looking dire, when just a few weeks ago it was a toss-up. A big factor is lack of money. Jake Gyllenhaal and his German shepherd, Atticus: Pre-Reese, Jake and Atticus were seen out and about on long walks almost everyday. Jakey must really trust R.W., since she’s been seen out with Atticus sans her Gyllenpal while he films abroad. You never saw Jen Aniston give over Norman’s leash to John Mayer—says a helluva lot, doesn’t it?
